I loved trekking in the Himalayas. Below are a few pictures from a couple of trips.
This happened within a couple of months of my arrival at Adelaide. A friend’s cousin arrived from India and he asked me to catch up with him to share some tips about finding a place to rent, get around Adelaide etc etc. coz he had to be somewhere else. I asked his cousin to meet me at Grenfell street around midday.
At the arranged time I was waiting… and waiting…. finally after about 20 minutes, M (I will keep his name private as he still lives in Adelaide) arrived. After exchanging the usual hello’s, out of concern I asked him if he had got lost or something. M replied, No – I was here earlier but saw the No Standing Anytime sign so kept walking along….LOL
Once upon a time….I had to decide on which city to come to in Australia. I read through the Lonely Planet guide and chose Adelaide in South Australia. On a Sunday afternoon, I arrived at Adelaide. I did not know anyone in South Australia.
I have lived here since. Made lots of friends, found love, raised a family and years later, I feel as though I have live here all my life. The people are friendly, there are lots of places to see, soak up the hospitality, friendliness of the locals, enjoy the variety of the food and wine, and in general, have a great time.
I love South Australia. I believe in being passionate about what I love and sharing it with everyone.
I Chose SA. So apt at a time when we see I Choose SA campaign.
